About Us
a little bit of ZEN. started as an independent venture by Ross Whitney born out of a passion for amazing customer service and how Zendesk enables that for thousands of companies big and small around the world.
Ross first worked in customer-facing roles for IBM in 1996 as a technical support specialist. Since then he has held dozens of roles, including Director level, building and leading customer success, support and operations teams until 2024.
a little bit of ZEN. is born.
At that point, he set out on a mission to positively impact a wider range of small, medium, startup and non-profit organisations by offering unique premium content stemming from almost 3 decades of experience coupled with affordable professional services designed for those customer segments.
Among many other achievements, Ross is a certified Zendesk expert. In July 2024, Zendesk recognised a little bit of ZEN. as an official partner.

We have amazing clients and are delivering exciting Zendesk projects for them. We carefully ensure that the information presented on this site is not in conflict with those projects and clients. The information shared on the site is never created for those projects but rather created before the projects by a little bit of ZEN. and, if beneficial and suitable, may used on the projects later.
Environment
The world around us has always been and, remains to be extremely important to me personally. Although not an appropriate platform for political messaging, there are ways even small businesses can contribute in a meaningful way to environmental causes through donations, to environmental impact through careful supplier choices and through human impact by spreading the message and encouraging positive change.
To that effect, a little bit of ZEN. commits to annually donate 10% of any profit earned through its premium content subscription. The charities will be carefully selected and published on the site.
